Future of Wisconsin Senate Sets Mood

Is it believed that the Senate outcome will set the political mood for Wisconsin. In the eyes of state Republicans, the Democratic nominee Tammy Baldwin is said to be "too liberal" for the state.There are two nominees that are on the Republican party ticket that have caught Baldwin's attention; Tommy Thompson and Eric Hovde. Hovde considers himself to be Thompson's biggest competitor. A survey found Hovde at 31 percent while Thompson at 29 percent. What does Baldwin think of this? "Her website has portrayed Thompson and Hovde as the “Washington Twins,” a sure sign that she expects one of those two to be her opponent."
